An enclosure (KE081-063----) was recorded in 2014 by Edmund O’Donovan.. During subsequent monitoring for the new forest planting it became evident that this enclosure was part of a larger group of monuments, defined by a field system of relic boundaries- some of them just visible above the present day surface of the bog- forming two roughly rectangular fields on both sides of the modern track. The area enclosed measures c. 130M N-S and c.50m E-W. Along the western side they follow the base of a steep natural scarp. In the southwest corner a further c.20m length of relic boundary extends westwards into the existing forestry. Along the eastern side three other boundaries extend eastwards; two of which appear to terminate at large natural boulders.
