This circular univallate rath is located on a small hillock a short distance S of the Inny river, and close to the head of its valley. The enclosing bank is faced with drystone masonry internally and externally and is largely of earthen construction. A line of trees grows on the crest of the bank which rises 2.2m above external ground level and falls 1.1m to the site's interior. The bank has a basal width of 4.2m. A gap at NE, 1.6m wide, may be the original entrance. The level interior of the rath is apparently featureless.
