In gently sloping boggy pasture on the lower N slopes of Beenduff, at the head of the Carhan river valley. Set within an extensive field system, four huts and a large circular enclosure. The enclosure is roughly constructed, with a basal row of intermittent uprights along its inner wall-face. It is divided internally, and its interior is filled with stone collapse. It may have functioned as an animal pen. D: 10m x 8m. (1) A rectangular drystone hut lies directly N of the enclosure. D: 5.5m x 2.2m. H: 1m. T: .7m. (2) The rough foundations of a rectangular hut, 5m SW of the enclosure. D: 2.2m. (3) Rough foundations of a rectangular hut, directly S of the enclosure. D: 4.5m x 2.2m. (4) Further S, another rectangular hut. D: 2.7m x 1.65m.
A 3m wide trackway runs E-W on the N side of the complex, its sides delimited by upright slabs and boulders. Many old field walls run to the trackway.
