This slab formerly stood on leacht (KE080-046008-), close to the ogham stone. It was described by Graves as featuring 'an elaborate cross and a dove engraved upon it in a very peculiar manner' (1872, 157); Brash recorded that it was 3 feet (.91m) high (1879, 270). Its present location is unknown.
The above description is derived from O'Sullivan, A. and Sheehan, J. (compilers) 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University press. (1996), no. 959. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
