This circular univallate rath is located in rough pasture on a N facing slope below the saddle that joins Keelnagore and Knockavohaun mountains. The enclosing bank is of earth, with a large stone content along its N sector. The fosse, variously preserved, is c. 4m wide and .9m deep below external ground level. The height of the bank above the fosse varies from 2.2m at S to 4.3m at N. It is 4.7m wide at S, 6m at N, and falls on average 1.15m to the interior. There are two breaks in the bank at NE and NW.
A raised area in the S half of the rath's interior contains the remnants of a stone-built rectangular building (KE080-038001-). It measures 5.8m x 2.8m internally, and its walls survive .6m high.
