This site is located in poorly drained pasture on the NE slopes of Keelnagore, overlooking an extensive tract of bog to N. A large squat standing stone, partly incorporated into a field boundary, stands 2.1m high and measures 1.4m x 1.1m at base; NNE-SSW. Its sides gradually taper towards a flat top. Leaning against it at S is a stone which measures 2.7m long and averages .59m wide and .28m thick. Only one 'Gallaun' is indicated on the OS maps.
