An opening to a souterrain is located adjacent to the hut at N. The E side of the opening is marked by a loose band of collapsed stone walling. roughly circular outlinAccess to the souterrain (KE080-002001-) is not possible, but the stone-built passage appears to run E-W. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 748.
