Possible promontory fort described in 2003 as follows; ‘A small squat lowlying south-facing grassy promontory is cut off from the adjacent land by a deep fosse and earthen bank. Traces of a second bank have largely been eroded away. The seashore is accessible from the site, which has almost no interior remaining. The nature of the remains is unclear, with not enough remaining to be certain of its provenance. The surrounding area is one of fertile cleared and drained pasture, with traces of previous cultivation visible’ (Casey 2003, 31, no. H).
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
