'This is a ruinous circular hut, measuring 3m in diameter. The enclosing element survives best at north, where it survives to a maximum 0.5m in height and 0.5m wide. The stones appear to be ramped inwards, suggestive of possible corbelling. No internal features or entrance were noted.'
The above description was published in F. Coyne, 'Islands in the clouds: an upland archaeological study on Mount Brandon and the Paps, Co. Kerry.' (Kerry Co. Council in association with Aegis Archaeology, 2006).
