In mountain heath (198m OD), in an area of cutaway blanket bog, on a gentle NE-facing slope. Excellent view of Behy river valley to NE and overlooked by horseshoe of mountains enclosing SE->SW->N. A very rough and fractured sandstone (dims. 1.30m NE-SW; 0.45m NW-SE; max. H 0.12m at N) which is subrectangular in plan. It is very low in profile and situated within a broad turf-bank (long-axis NE-SW), whereby it is only partially exposed, being covered by peat E->S->W. The decorated surface (dims. 0.30m NE-SW; 0.10m NW-SE) is generally level with a slight S-facing aspect. The motifs are weathered yet traceable, consisting of a large cupmark (diam. 7cm; D 5mm) and a smaller cupmark (diam. 5cm; D 11mm), c. 0.22m to SW; possibly deepened by weathering. There may be additional motifs under the sod. Rock art (KE071-002----) is c. 2.5m to NW.
