Promontory fort described in 2003 as follows; 'Two collapsed and grassed over earth and drystone walls cut off a steeply sloping west facing headland. The outermost wall is straight and a slight depression running along the base is the only trace of a fosse. The inner bank curves and less remains to be seen. The headland is inhospitable and the interior is featureless. The sides are steep and the site is overlooked by higher land to the east. Despite this, the inner bank seems to be the remains of a heavily eroded defensive bank’ (Casey 2003, 39, no. M).
