Henry described a 'series of ruins above and below the highest modern fence' on the N side of Castlequin, overlooking Coonanna Harbour. She identified a small, ruinous stone fort which enclosed the remains of a number of hut sites. To E, over the fence, was a ruined oval enclosure (KE069-020001-), possibly a hut site, with internal dimensions of 7 feet (2.1m) x 5 feet 6 inches (1.7m). An entrance occurred in the wall at N.
