This site (KE069-014----), which has been levelled, was situated about 30m NW of a cross-inscribed boulder (KE069-015----). A record of it made in the 1930s noted that the hut was in a very collapsed state, forming a cairn of appromimately circular plan.
A souterrain (KE069-014001-), with an opening c. 8m to NW, was reported locally to have had two passages (KAS). This appears to be the 'chambered cairn' referred to by O'Connell (1939a, 47).
