In pasture, on a SW-facing slope. According to local information, differential growth patterns were noted in the grass and other vegetation to the N and S of a recent field boundary. Differential vegetation colour in an aerial photograph (GSIAP, W 449-50), taken in 1977, indicates a circular enclosure (diam. c. 45m) in this location. This enclosure is not visible at ground level. A possible rath (KE068-103----) lies c. 50m to the SW.
