In pasture, on a level elevation on a W-facing slope with views SE to The Paps of Dana. The location of this rath is indicated by a slightly raised level area. It is indicated as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on the 1846 OS 6-inch map. This is probably one of the three raths recorded in Drom townland in the 1940s, one of which was in Clem. T. Cooper's, one in John G. Cooper's and another in Florence T. Cooper's land (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry).
