In level pasture. A roughly circular area (diam. 38.4m) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 2.6m; int. H 1.8m; ext. H 1.9m) SSW-NW, by a recent field boundary (part of which may be resting on the original bank) NW-NNE, by a recent linear field boundary NNE-SE and by the faint outline of a low bank SE-SSW. There is a break at NW, with short stretches of recent stone walls on each side. There is a gate to the adjoining road at NE. The rath is indicated as a circular enclosed area (diam. c. 35m) on the 1846 OS 6-inch map. According to local information, this is the rath, within which were a few grave-like mounds of earth, recorded in the 1940s on David P. O'Sullivan's land (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry).
