In a possible cashel (KE067-097001-) which is now evident as a densely overgrown oval mound (c. 40m N-S; c. 35m E-W). It is known locally as a children's burial ground called 'Cahireenaleanbh' and was also recorded as such in the 1940s (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry). There is also a tradition that friars and other adults were buried here and in the 1940s 'mounds of earth marking graves' could still be seen (ITA).
