An isolated pit (2.64m x 1.04m; D 0.7m) was found during archaeological excavations in advance of the construction of a housing development in 2002 (Kiely 2004c, 218). The pit was located c. 25m NE of a fulacht fia (KE066-144003-). Compiled by: Elizabeth Byrne, Ursula Egan and Sheila Ronan, Archaeological Survey Unit, University College, Cork.
