A mound of burnt material (12m x 5m) was excavated in 2002 prior to the construction of a housing estate (Kiely 2004c, 218). The mound overlay a rectangular trough and a hearth (1.6m x 1.4m) and three pits were excavated in the immediate vicinity. An isolated pit (KE066-144005-) occurred c. 25m to the NE.
