On the N outskirts of Killarney. A two-storey building in modern use as a community centre. The front elevation (N-facing) is of three bays (slightly altered) with a deep one-bay hipped projection at each end. One-bay gabled additions prolong front elevation, further extensive additions to rear. Abandoned one-storey dispensary at entrance gate to N. Lewis (1837, vol. 2, 128) noted that the hospital 'is adapted to the reception of 50 patients, and has a ward attached to it for surgical cases...'.
