In the 1940s a 'great eminence', under which was a series of souterrains (see KE066-085002-), was recorded in the second field to the rear of Mrs. McKay's house (ITA). The nature of this 'eminence' is not known but given its association with souterrains it is possible that it may have been a rath. It has not been precisely located.
