On Innisfallen Island in Lough Leane. According to Barrington (1976, 212), 'between the landing stage and the main monastery there are the vestiges of a beehive hut'. This possible clochan is reputedly located along the E shoreline near the modern pier. A mound of stone (dims. c. 6m E-W; c. 5m N-S; H c. 1.3m), which is heavily overgrown, may represent a collapsed beehive structure or a clearance-mound from 20th-century works on the island (OPW file).
