In a rath (KE066-040----). Two depressions (L c. 1m; Wth 1m; D 0.25m) in the SW quadrant of the rath may indicate a collapsed souterrain chamber. According to a local correspondent writing in 1939, the rath had 'underground chambers' which connected to a souterrain (KE066-041----) on the E side of the railway (SMR file). This is probably the 'blocked entrance to a souterrain', recorded in the 1940s in the centre of an 'old fort' (ITA).
