What is recorded here

In pasture, on top of a hillock, to the NW of farm buildings. This rath is indicated as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on the 1846 OS 6-inch map. The present remains consist of a semicircular area (c. 24m N-S; c. 24m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.7m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1m) SW-E and by farm buildings along the straight side at SE. The bank SW-W is skirted externally by a stone field boundary. An arc of bank NE-E has been disturbed externally. The interior slopes gently down to the SE. There is a stone-built structure outside the field boundary which skirts the bank along the SW arc.
