In rough pasture, on a N-facing slope. The remains of a stone field wall (T 0.6m; H 0.5m) protrude above the surface of shallow bog and extend (L c. 40m) to the N from a hut site (KE064-024001-) before curving to the W for c. 45m. A shorter stretch of wall extends S of the hut site for c. 16m. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 30 May 2011
