Located in Faha Wood, this stone-built souterrain, 'Cave' on the second edition of the OS maps, comprises two short passageways connected by a creepway (Rynne, forthcoming). It is not now accessible. The souterrain became waterlogged and was infilled in the 1970s (local information).
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 878. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
