What is recorded here

On a wide expanse of open grassland at at centre of the island. Views are unobstructed in all directions, with bank and ditch (KE06100302) located 120m to the northwest, and KE061-007--- approximately 60m to the north. The island rises to a rocky bluff to the southeast, and so KE061-006--- is not visible. The surrounding land is short grass, grazed only by the herd of deer which inhabit the island. This oval hut site measures 5.5m north-south by 9m east-west. The enclosing element is a 0.3m high sod-covered bank, averaging 1.5m wide, with some stones visible, both in its internal and external faces. No entrance was visible.
