Perched at the edge of the sea-cliffs on the W side of the island is a semi-circular area, 26m in diameter, enclosed by a fosse which is 1m deep below the external ground level and 2m deep below the interior. There is no trace of an enclosing wall or bank. The fosse is spanned by a causeway at about its mid-point. The site was not visited on this occasion. (O'Leary and Snod-grass 1976, 15).
