What is recorded here

In improved pasture (lush grass), on a N-facing slope. Reported to the Archaeological Survey of Ireland as the very low remains of an enclosure. Circular area (dims. 28m NE-SW; 26m NW-SE) defined by low profile bank (overall Wth 12m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.1m) SE->SW and very poorly defined scarp NE->SE (Wth 3.5m; H 0.15m). Field boundary (long axis NW-SE) to W appears to have truncated monument on its W side. Earth and stone field boundary (long axis NE-SW) to N appears to respect the northern arc of the monument, although this arc is no longer visible and has been incorporated into the field. This boundary has a dense cover of whitethorn and briars. There is an irregular sub-oval feature depicted upon OS first edition six inch map at this location.
