What is recorded here

In rough pasture, in a marshy area on the S side of an E-W field boundary. There are no visible remains of this holy well which was known as 'Tobar an Bulláin' (CPCK vol. 2). According to local information, it was filled in many years ago. Compiled by: Elizabeth Byrne, Ursula Egan and Sheila Ronan, Archaeological Survey Unit, University College, Cork.
