In pasture, built into a S-facing slope close to a road. A mid/late 19th-century limekiln with well-built random rubble walls retaining an earthen core and roughly shaped quoins at the corners. The front elevation (Wth c. 8.8m; H c. 4m) faces S. The central semicircular arched recess (Wth 2.8m; H 1.5m; D 2.3m) has an internal horizontal lintel and sloping slabs to the rear. Two horizontal ledges run across the face of the kiln and extend around to the sides; the first ledge is c. 2m off the ground, the second c. 3m off the ground. There is an earthen ramp to the rear. The funnel area is covered with overgrowth.
