On the E side of a road in the village of Ballyhar. The church is cruciform in ground plan (long axis NE-SW) with transepts at the NE end. The main door is in the SW wall. The walls are rendered externally with exposed cut limestone detail. There is a bellcote on top of the SW gable. Lewis (1837, vol. 1, 74) described this church as 'a modern building'. It is still in use.
