In a rath (KE058-132001-). A 'Cavern' was recorded in this rath in the 1840s (OSNB, Kilcredane, 17). The landowner pointed out two large stone slabs in a clear area in the N half of the rath which, according to him, mark the location of a possible souterrain. He recalls as a child throwing stones into a cavity under the slabs. The cavity was not visible at the time of inspection.
