What is recorded here

In pasture, on an WNW-facing slope. A circular area (c. 53m E-W; c. 44m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5.8m; int. 1.1m; ext. H 2.5m). The bank is incorporated into the field boundary system along the E and S arcs. In general the interior slopes down to the WNW. The WNW sector of the interior has been raised to compensate for the hillslope. There are cattle gaps through the bank at N and NE. There are overgrown areas along the internal perimeter of the bank at NE, S and NW. Another rath (KE058-055----) is c. 50m to the ESE.
