In pasture, on a S-facing slope. The possible rath is levelled but it is visible as a slight rise (diam. c. 30m) in the field to the S of the townland boundary. It is indicated on the 1894 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) with the townland boundary skirting the N arc of the interior.
