In pasture, on level ground. The levelled remains of a possible rath are evident as a slightly raised circular area (diam. c. 38m) with a shallow depression in the centre. This possible rath is indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map as an oval enclosure (c. 35m NNW-SSE; c. 30m ENE-WSW).
