In pasture, on the break of a S-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Laune Riverto the S. An oval area (38m E-W; 28m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 13m; H 0.75m) NW-NE and by a scarp (H 1m) NE-NW. The interior is level. A field boundary skirts the bank NW-E. A trackway is adjacent to the scarp at W.
