In pasture, on level ground. An upright stone (dims. 1.05m x 0.75m; H 2m), orientated NE-SW, and rectangular in plan and elevation. Some scratch marks are visible on the corner of the SW face of the stone. In the 1840s 'two high rocks' called gallauns were recorded here (OSNB, Killorglin, no. 1, 5). There is a rath (KE057-038----) c. 190m to the NE.
