The sod-covered remnants of two possibly conjoined circular huts occur towards the centre of the site's oval-shaped interior. The N hut (KE056-041001-) has internal dimensions of 3.4m x 1.8m, and its wall footings survive .2m high and 1.35m wide.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 538. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
