The Kerry Archaeological Survey noted a possible collapsed souterrain at this location. This may correspond with the cave containing bones which Windele (1838, 155) was informed had been discovered near Cnoc na Fola (KE054-033001-) though the latter is more likely to have been a grave. No visible trace survives.
