This rath (KE054-006----) and souterrain (KE054-006001-) are located on a N facing slope overlooking the Lispole valley. Three ogham stones (see also KE054-006002- and KE054-006004-) and a cross-slab were reused in the construction of the souterrain. The ogham scores on this roofing slab are coarsely executed and difficult to read but Macalister (1945 136-7, no. 140) suggests: LUGUVVECCA MAQI (... . Macalister also noted a plain cross which is no longer evident. (Cuppage 1986, no. 285)
