This roughly oval univallate rath lies on a N facing slope overlooking the Lispole valley. The earthen enclosing bank survives only around the NW half of the enclosure. It is .75m high internally and 2m high externally. A very shallow fosse, 2m wide and less than .4m deep, is also faintly discernible and it is separated from the base of the bank by a 2m wide ledge. The SE half of the site is enclosed by a drystone-built field wall which probably preserves the line of the original bank. Access to the interior is provided by gaps between the wall and bank at N and SW, but the original entrance was probably located in the destroyed SE section of the bank.
