This univallate rath is situated on the N slopes of the E end of Eask ridge. It has been considerably interfered with by field fences and an orchard has been planted in part of the interior. The outline of the enclosure is still discernible, but along the SE and W sectors, the bank has been replaced by stone walls, the wall at W forming the townland boundary. Elsewhere the earthen enclosing bank is a maximum of 2m high internally and 1m high externally and its outer flank is stone-faced. A 3m wide gap in the E sector probably marks the original entrance though it has probably been widened.
