In 2011 a graveyard survey carried out by Ann Frykler and Robert Hanbidge of Headland Archaeology Ltd. recorded the following details about a possible cross-inscribed stone (Miscellaneous No. 13): ‘Broken fragment of an inscribed slab, not clear of what the original design was, possibly part of an early Christian cross inscribed stone, but this is mere speculation’ (Hanbidge 2011, 13).
