This site is shown on the OS maps as a circular univallate enclosure and was named 'Ringliss' in the OSNB (Ventry, 36). The outline of the original enclosure is still preserved, except along the SE sector, by the field wall which now encloses the site, but it is unlikely that the wall itself is original. The wall is 1.5m high and 1m wide and consists of a rubble core faced internally and externally with drystone masonry. The site lies on level ground at the foot of Mount Eagle.
