This ogham stone (see KE049-122----) now stands in the front garden of a house but was found over twenty years ago by the present landowner when levelling a field bank which ran across the site of an enclosure (KE049-075----). The stone is a fragment, measuring 0.60m in length. The inscription in so far as it survives is clear and reads: RUDDAG(G) . . . It probably originally ended with NI and may be the equivalent of later Ruadhán. Compiled by: Fionnbarr Moore Date of upload: 8 July 2013

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
