Ringfort described in 1986 by the Castleisland District Archaeological Survey as follows; 'Situated on top of a hill in an area of pasture. The monument consists of a circular area [diam. 45.5m] defined by a bank [int. H 1.15m; ext. H 1.9m] of mainly earthen construction and a fosse [ext. D 0.45m]. A break [Wth 2.8m] in the bank, probably the site of the original entrance occurs on the east-southeast. The interior of the monument is clear of vegetation and uneven, it slopes to the east. Two possible structures, a rectangular feature (KE049-025003-) and a roughly circular feature (KE049-025003-) can be traced in the interior' (SMR File). The interior of the ringfort was reused as a children's burial ground (KE049-025002-). Outline of ringfort clearly visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthophoto taken 03/02/2021.
