Reported to the Archaeological Survey of Ireland as a large extant mound with a basal ditch. There is no visible surface trace of any mound at this location. A substantial oval area is seen on modern aerial photography bisected by the rear plot boundary (long-axis NW-SE) of a modern house (OSi 2010). The SW-half within the adjacent field is dark green in colour whilst the NE-half in the house plot is light green in colour. This would indicate this as an area of archaeological potential.
