In wet pasture, at the base of a steep S-facing slope. A low mound (10m E-W; c. 6m N-S; H c. 0.7m) of burnt material. A drain containing water lies immediately to the N. This may be the fulacht fia, in Rossanean townland, included in an appendix of fulachtaí fia by M. J. O'Kelly (1954, 151). (Castleisland District Archaeological Survey)
