What is recorded here

In pasture, on a slight W-facing slope. A circular area (c. 33.5m N-S; 32.5m E-W) defined by a low rise (ext. H c. 0.6m) NE-NW, by a scarp NW-NNW and elsewhere by a WNW-ESE field boundary which truncates the N sector. The internal face of the bank slopes gently into the interior. A slight trace of a fosse is visible along the E and S arcs. The interior is level. According to local information, a large stone slab was removed from the W sector when the rath was being levelled in the 1950s.
